National Center for Global Health and Medicine and Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University signed the agreement on the extension of the Memorandum of Understanding for collaborative research

In 2017, NCGM and the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University (FTM-MU) signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) intended to conduct complementary research activities that might be undertaken for the mutual benefit of the two Parties. Since then, the NCGM and the FTM-MU have been engaging in collaborative clinical studies and having the exchanges for trainings in clinical researches.
In order to strengthen the relationship and to continue the collaboration, both parties agreed to extend the validity of the MOU for the next 5 years on the 23rd November 2022. The agreement concerning the extension of the MOU was signed by Dr. Norihiro Kokudo, President of the NCGM, and followed by Assoc. Prof. Weerapong Phumratanaprapin, Dean of the FTM-MU in Bangkok. On the 7th December 2022, Dr. Shigeyuki Kano and his counterparts from FTM-MU and colleagues from NCGM presented at the venue for the signing ceremony.
